Busy end to the week policing the roads on the East side of York ….
On the evening of Sunday 10 May officers located a vehicle on Hull Road with reports the driver could be under the influence of drugs. Police attempted to stop the vehicle from which point it made off. Officers conducted a rapid search across York which led us to locate and arrest the driver in the Strensall area. The driver having been interviewed has been released pending further enquiries for offences including dangerous driving, failing to stop, possession of drugs and drug driving offences. If you know of anyone involved in drugs, or driving under the influence of drugs please speak with a member of your local Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) or contact police via 101. Always dial 999 in an emergency
Less than 24 hours later police located a vehicle on Hull Road in York – vehicle seized for no insurance and reported to the DVLA for no tax. If you know of anyone driving without insurance please speak with a member of your local Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) or contact police via 101. Always dial 999 in an emergency
